Best Bar Burger: Boomers Classic Rock Bar & Grill
I don’t think of Boomers as a bar. I think of them as a place that serves bomb burgers that happens to have a ton of alcohol for sale. This is not your typical “bar food”. Their burgers steal the show.
Boomers is a local, family run bar that looks like it is straight out of a movie. They have Classic Rock paraphernalia covering the walls, booth, bar, and high top seating. They offer live music on weekends and flat screen tv’s for sport fanatics. They also have a couple pool tables that make for a competitive and fun night out with friends.
Boomer’s is very low key and unlike many other local bars, they offer a full menu. This location is also kid friend, so you can bring the whole family! They are only open for dinner and late night and they have the best selectin of tap beer in the area.
They try to always offer something new and exciting that you can’t get anywhere else in Spokane. In the Summer time they open up their back patio for extra seating and fun yard games. Their burgers are fried up fresh and come out juicy as can be. If not everyone is in the mood for a burger, their salad really WOW’ed me. I was expecting a soggy, underwhelming Caesar with a piece of frozen fish on the top. What I got was completely opposite of that. The dressing has a nice lemon flavor and it is lightly tossed with a fresh piece of grilled mahi mahi on top.
We loved their Mr Mojo Risin Burger, but no matter which burger you decide on, you HAVE to order sweet potato fries. We asked for their secret and our waiter told us they fry them in soy fry oil and cook them 25 degrees hotter than typical, so they end up nice and crispy on the outside and soft with a little crunch on the inside. These are the tastiest ones I have tried in Spokane and add on some “boom sauce” to dip them in. After you try them, you’ll happily pay extra for these additions.
