COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS IN SPOKANE

We are doing a COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS. It’s less than a week away! All week I’ll be sharing some festive holiday spots around town to get your grub on over on Instagram.

Chaps Coffee Co

Chaps is one of the most adorable brunch spots around. They are just outside Spokane, in Cheney and they are sure to wow all with their food and decor. They decorated for Christmas is their ladder tree, garland, and ornaments, and just like always they are KILLING the game. Stop by for some sweet and savory breakfast dishes, maple scones, or just some divine coffee. They are sure to put a smile on your face. ?: @lindsaydahm_

Durkins Liquor Bar

They are keeping things “Merry and Bright”inside Durkins this Christmas Season! I am so glad that we discovered the perfection behind Durkins. Every dish we try is better than the last. I have been telling everyone I know that they need to try this place, because I am confident they will leave a lasting impression on all patrons. Their Christmas decor is so warm and cozy compared to the snow piling up outside. Stay warm, merry and bright, (and most importantly full) this Christmas season, at Durkins.

Davenport Hotel Peanut Brittle

The Davenport has the best peanut brittle in town. It is soft and doesn’t get stuck in your teeth and make you believe you have an instant cavity like other peanut brittle. They sell various flavors and sizes. This is their 3-tiered box trio and you can buy it for a little under $20. This makes a perfect gift for grandparents, I know from experience.

Madeleine’s Cafe & Patisserie

What is Christmas without cookies, cookies, and more cookies?! For those of us who want to keep the kitchen clean and sprinkle/icing free this season, let Madeleine’s do that baking, frosting, and decorating for you. I can guarantee these look better than the cookies I will be decorating. Pick up an assorted box from their Bakery on Main street downtown. You can pre-order your box or just stop by and pick one up. $20 for a large variety box. Call them at 509-624-2253 for your pre-order.

Main Street Coeur d’Alene

I love Coeur d’Alene in the Summer but who knew how cute it looks in the winter too? They light up main street with all things Christmas and they snow dusted streets make you feel like you’re walking through a Hallmark movie. While you’re there, book a ride on their Christmas Cruise for you and the kids. It will be an experience they will never forget! Instagram photo by: @Danamuchowdesign

Greenbluff Christmas Tree Farm

The Christmas Tree Farm at Greenbluff was my favorite Christmas activity this year. They have everything perfectly organized and happy faces to help you every step of the tree-picking way. You start by viewing the samples of each type of tree they offer. Then, you either tell them which one and they bring it to you or you venture out into the farm and saw it down yourself! All trees are $50 and they will help you de-snow and load it up to your car. They have a warm fire and hot drinks to keep you warm.
