Of course we all want to go to France, see the Eiffel Tower, write our initials next to our loved ones on a lock and secure it to the chain-link fence on the Pont des Arts bridge that crosses the Seine river, walk the beautiful countryside, and most of all, eat crepes! Because, who doesn’t want to have thin pancakes full of fruit, chocolate, cream, and other goodies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?
Just because you can’t make the trip to Europe, doesn’t mean you have to give up your hopes and dreams of eating crepes all day long. Tucked away on the South Hill, just off of Grand Boulevard, is Fleur De Sel Artisan Creperie. A little piece of France here in Spokane, Washington. It’s ALMOST as good as eating them along the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Fleur De Sel Artisan Creperie is owned by Patricia and Laurent Zirotti who moved here from France.
Fleur de Sel has a very friendly vibe and and somewhat modern design. The staff is amazing and very helpful when it comes to choosing the right sweet or savory treat for breakfast or lunch. Did I say sweet OR savory? I meant sweet AND savory, because you need to try both. This time I tried the savory Turkey and Bacon crepe with the classic Nutella Banana and the Peanut Butter and Jelly sweet crepes. Every single combo was amazing with just the right mix of sweet and savory.
Fleur De Sel is a must if you are looking for something different and delicious for breakfast or lunch in Spokane! They have a variety of flavors so everyone is sure to find something they are happy with!
