In one short week, Spokane will be forever changed. Honest in Ivory, Spokane’s newest Bridal Shop, opens their doors on August 17th and after our sneak peek visit, we are confident they will become THE place to go wedding dress shopping in town!
“Honest In Ivory is a bridal shop for non-traditional brides who don’t subscribe to the stressful and ‘over-the-top’ stigma of wedding dress shopping. We carry bridal gowns, bridesmaids gowns, bridal lingerie, shoes, jewelry, veils, and other little bridal trinkets. Our brides are a little bit bohemian, classic, romantic, and refined. Our designer gowns are exclusive to our shop and cannot be found in any other bridal shop in Spokane or surrounding areas.”
Honest in Ivory is the vision of owner, Cassie David. She is a firm believer in pursuing your dreams regardless of what other people say. Cassie says peers told her that opening up her own bridal shop in Spokane was “too scary” or “too big of a risk”. I’m so glad she didn’t listen to them and once you see her shop, you will be too!
Cassie took a chance to share her passion to diversify and make Spokane cooler and more trendy. “I really wanted to elevate the bridal industry. There are so many fabulous photographers in Spokane and I want to collaborate and connect people in the bridal industry” she said. Cassie loves the idea of bringing younger, more modern, designer trends to Spokane.
“I want to create a shop where I feel like your girlfriend, helping you to find something beautiful that makes you feel amazing on your special day. I don’t upsell. I want the bride to feel comfortable and give everyone the same experience regardless of their budget.”
At Honest In Ivory, you can find some of the dreamiest designers in the industry like: Blush by Hayley Paige, L’amour, Wtoo, Willowby, Calla Blanche, Theia, Ti Adora, Sorella Vita Bridesmaids, and Sara Gabriel Accessories. Prices range from $900-$3,200.
Some of the gowns are classic, some have a country flair, some are boho, and others are chic. At Honest in Ivory, they truly have something for everyone. Cassie is completely transparent about the whole process and the dress designers at Honest in Ivory cannot be found anywhere else in Spokane.
Cassie is a young, female entrepreneur that saw a need in the Spokane bridal market and took a risk to fill it. A Spokane native and Mead High School graduate, she has worked her butt off to make this dream of hers come true.
