Petit Chat is perfect in every way. The moment you walk inside, you are overwhelmed with the aroma of fresh baked bread and cinnamon rolls. If I could buy a Petit Chat candle… I would buy 5. Their store is HUGE with a bread section, cafe, then a very large seating area full of tables, benches, couches, and booths. It is located right by Whitworth University so they do a great job at catering toward college study groups and coffee dates. The cinnamon rolls are the size of your face. I prefer my cinnamon rolls drenched in frosting, but these ones are very popular and they smelled amazing.
Fresh granola, bread, pastries, etc. These baker know what they are doing and they are consistent. Every time you come here you can be sure it will taste the same as the time before.
My favorite menu item is by far their turkey cranberry sandwich. This Thanksgiving staple should be celebrated year round and Petit Chat makes that possible. The flavor combination is perfect. Stuff some chips under the bread and this sandwich is sweet and salty, with an added crunch.
I also got a loaf of Rosemary bread with sea salt. After smelling this bag, we couldn’t resist. It had just the right amount of rosemary and the sea salt was a great addition. Their chocolate chip cookie was also really good. You have to dig through their selection to find a soft one, but it is well worth it.
There is a big seating area with a ton of room to chat with friends, hold study groups, or grab a good book and make yourself comfortable on one of their couches.

[…] I can’t find the words to describe this bakery. I’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving year-round with this sandwich! Roasted turkey, swiss, cream cheese, tomato, spinach, pickles, onion, and cranberry sauce. It’s sweet, salty, savory, and best if you stuff the chips under your bread. You’ve been warned.
