REMEDY KITCHEN & TAVERN

REMEDY KITCHEN & TAVERN

We worked up such an appetite at the “Serve, Rally, Play” event hosted by Rec Tennis, but wanted to keep it healthy so we didn’t ruin our workout. Remedy was the perfect option as it is located minutes from Comstock Park, you can find a seat indoor or on their rooftop patio, and they serve ice cold Humm Kombucha from the tap.

Remedy Kitchen and Tavern is such a pleasant addition to the South Hill Neighborhood. It is located off 38th and Grand featuring a full Service Dining Room, 24 Tap Bar, Banquet Hall, Rooftop Patio, etc. This is a perfect spot to grab food and drinks with friends, and chill out on their shaded rooftop patio. The food is light, beautifully prepared and the ambiance gets a 10/10. Remedy is ideal for a low-key date night in a fun environment. This has easily jumped to one of my top 10 places in Spokane. I was so impressed by everything they had to offer, the friendliness of staff, and decor.

Remedy offers a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. So you can come at different times to enjoy different offerings. On the weekend breakfast menu, available 8am-12pm Saturday and Sunday, you can find some of your favorites cocktails, fresh squeezed juice, french toast, steak and eggs, traditional breakfast, biscuits and gravy, and more. They also offer two different acai bowls for those looking for a healthy, sweet breakfast bowl full of fruit.  If you show up to Remedy for lunch you can enjoy soup and salad, acai bowls, or one of their rice bowls. The dinner menu is where things get really exciting. We tried 6 different entrees and my overall favorite was the Honey Sriracha Glazed Salmon, then the Spaghetti Squash (add salmon) and the Pork and Hash. They serve wild caught Alaskan Salmon and you can really taste the difference when you compare it to farm raised. The veggie side being served at this time is local brussels sprouts sauteed to perfection. Remedy offers a variety of gluten free and vegan dishes to accommodate food allergies or preferences. All of their burgers and sandwiches can be made on a gluten free bun for an additional charge.

  1. […] To all of the people that say Millenials are lazy and don’t know how to work, and blah blah blah, i’d like to introduce you to Derek. He’s one of the hardest workers around. He is up long before anyone should be, and he is a jack of all trades at Bene’s. You can find him in the kitchen, doing the accounting, social media, and whatever else he needs to do to make Bene’s a success. He has poured his heart and soul into this business and it shows! Derek has been around the block working in various restaurants around Spokane, most recently at Backyard Public House and Remedy. […]
