THE IVORY TABLE

THE IVORY TABLE

Sometimes you just need to eat a chocolate crepe the size of your face. The Ivory Table makes them with buckwheat so they have more of a nutty flavor which works really well! The owner went to culinary school in Seattle and cooked in France, so she knows her crepes.

The Ivory Table is celebrating their two year anniversary this June. They offer boutique weddings as well as corporate and private event catering. Their storefront cafe is open Monday-Friday from 11-3 where you can get their buckwheat crepes, hot and cold sandwiches, soup, rotating salads, cookies, etc. They have plans to open for brunch in the future.

This is the Smoked salmon crepe. It is made with herbed cream cheese, tomato, neufchatel, parmesan, capers, red onion, chives, dill. It was creamy, had a great amount of filling, and the nutty crepe really complimented the salmon and capers.

Another popular menu item is their Ivory Chicken Sandwich with herb marinated chicken breast, housemade garlic and caper aioli and served with a side salad. Their fresh squeezed lemonade is the perfect compliment to this sandwich. It is light & fresh.

I was really drawn to them by their pretty storefront. Its sky blue with a striped canopy. They have big, open windows and the interior, rustic feel is perfect for a cafe lunch.

They offer custom catering options including their supper club on the first friday of each month. This includes a 5 course dinner with wine pairing. They also offer this service in homes for private dinner parties.

There are few things better than a warm chocolate crepe. The nutela was oozing out. The chocolate to crepe ratio was just right.
