THE SCREAMING YAK NORTH SPOKANE BAR

Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, The Screaming Yak has it all. Disclaimer: I ate here after running in Bloomsday… aka I was famished and really could have eaten anything. And, it was far enough away from downtown that we didn’t have to deal with long lines and Bloomsday crowds. With that said, The Screaming Yak is low-key and the food is what you would expect from a casual bar. Their menu is full of greasy burgers, garlic french fries, fried chicken, sandwiches, etc. I definitely prefer their breakfast menu to their lunch and dinner options. It seems they have a little more variety with their breakfast selection.

It’s hard to find a local restaurant on the north-side to meet with friends, but the Screaming Yak has become a gathering place for many Spokane “regulars”. There is plenty of room in the bar and they have some high top tables in the dining area.
