Let’s get right down to business. I chose to register on Babylist because you can add products from any site on the web. I had products from Amazon, Target, Nordstrom, and some specialty stores all on my registry in one easy place. Before I started my registry, I did A TON of research. I read all the mom blogs, talked to all my friends who had recently had babies to find out what worked for them, and went to stores to see the products first-hand and test them out. The most important thing to me with baby products is convenience. I travel a lot, so they need to be easy to use, travel friendly, and keep my baby safe and comfortable.

The item that I put the most research into was definitely her stroller/car seat combination. I knew that we would be in the car a lot and I wanted something that was super safe and also really convenient for a mom who is always on-the-go. ELVIE PUMP

Breast feeding is my favorite time to bond with my baby, but it forces me to sit still and nurse until she decides she is done. I’m not used to all this sitting in one place so the thought of then having to also pump and be stuck in a seated position for even longer just doesn’t work for me. That’s why I chose the Elvie Pump! It allows me to pump discreetly (this is key) anytime, anywhere. I can pump at home while doing chores, commuting to and from meetings around town, etc. Dan told me about this pump because a lot of his colleagues use it at the hospital while seeing patients. DOCK A TOT

The ultimate stage 1 docking station for your baby ages 0-8+ months old. I’ve mentioned convenience is extremely important to me and the dock a tot is the ultimate convenience piece for your baby. We have been using it every day for hours since the day we brought Bayler home. She absolutely loves it for all her naps and co-sleeping. She sleeps far better when nestled in her dock a tot than in her bassinet, pack-n-play, or crib because it keeps her contained. MY BREAST FRIEND DELUXE NURSING PILLOW

I went the first week breast feeding without this pillow, then started using it at every feeding and it was night and day! It props her up so perfectly on both sides and encourages better posture for mom while breastfeeding. It’s firm and flat so prevents baby from rolling out of position during nursing. HAAKA PUMP

Ok, so I didn’t really believe that a baby product that is only $20 would be so amazing but the Haaka suction pump has turned me into a believer! It’s so easy to use and simply uses suction to draw out milk while you nurse the opposite side. It’s soft, comfortable, great for travel or even just to bring in your diaper bag, easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and I get so much milk when I use it! It’s bonus milk that would otherwise get lost in a breast pad or stored in the breast so using it increases my milk production.
