I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…
Don’t be afraid to try boots if you aren’t vegan or gluten free. Their vegan dishes are so good you won’t even miss the meat. If you are vegan or gluten-free, this is your safe haven. Their menu selection changes daily based on ingredients that are brought to them from local farmers. You can follow them on Facebook for daily updates about what they are serving.
They serve, hands down, the tastiest no-bake cookie I have EVER had. They are chilled and moist with nuts and dried fruit. So. Dang. Good. Stay and chill on your computer, chat with other locals, or nestle into a chair and read a book. You’ll fit right in.
The 2016 Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions made their debut in Spokane last Thursday. How cool that we get to be a test market for so many wonderful shows, businesses, restaurants, etc. This is common because brands believe if they can do well in Spokane, they can do well anywhere. I’ll take that as a compliment…?
Anyway, Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin, both insanely talented GOLD MEDALIST Olympians on the women’s gymnastics team, were at Boot’s Bakery last week! They posted on their Instagram Accounts that they are looking for the best coffee shops to try at each one of their 37 stops on tour. They set the expectations REALLY high by starting off at Boot’s! I can’t wait to see where else they choose as they travel the country. If it is good enough for an olympian… it is good enough for me. 🙂
Their show was pretty awesome too! We even got Shawn’s autograph!!
XOXO
