3 NINJAS – SPOKANE TAKEOUT KENDALL YARDS

3 NINJAS – SPOKANE TAKEOUT KENDALL YARDS

To anyone who already loves Kendall Yards, there’s a new reason to love it even more and its name is 3 Ninjas. You may recognize them from their colorful food truck seen around Spokane, but now they have their own brick and mortar spot right in Kendall Yards. Find it nestled on Adams Lane, a side street off of Summit, across from Paper and Cup.

3 Ninjas is the perfect grab and go spot with food bursting in flavor, for a good price, that will fill you up and keep you full! The 3 Ninjas, Steven, Mike and T-Dog, have been friends since ’04 and share a passion for what they do. Their menu is Asian, American, Mexican fusion brought together to create a perfect union of tasty creations. They offer a selection of tacos, wraps, sandwiches and salads.

We started with their 3 different types of tacos: Thai Lemon Grass, Smoked Chicken and Bulgogi. We would recommend the trio but if we had to choose a favorite, it would be Bulgogi featuring Korean style marinated steak, cabbage, Sriracha aioli (yum), candied jalapeño and sesame seeds all perfectly placed in a flour tortilla. Chef Mike has the Korean marinade down to a T!

The Fire Wrap is a customer favorite and the first thing I tried from 3 Ninjas years ago. My mouth still waters when I think of it. It’s a combination of chicken, habanero jelly, cabbage, cheese, onion jalapeño mix and habanero aioli. Altogether I can sum it up in one word – fire!

We also tried their Steak Banh Mi Sandwich which was toasted perfectly and truly picture perfect. Its Srirachi aioli drizzled over a generous serving of marinated beef, pickled veggies, candied jalapeño, cilantro and cucumbers. Order this sandwich. You won’t regret it!

Last on our tasting menu was the Bulgogi Steak Salad because we could not get enough of that amazing meat! It had the perfect balance of sweet, citrus and savory. Their lemon ginger dressing covered a bed of greens with bulgogi steak, mandarin oranges, green onions, fried wonton strips and sesame seeds.

Of course, we also enjoyed their impressive coke machine and house made tortilla chips with their specialty hot sauces. Fun fact, the 3 Ninjas launched a hot sauce company 3 years ago and are selling them in their restaurant today! That’s right, if you love their Smoky Jalapeño, Mango Habanero or Sweet Melissa sauces, you can buy one (or all three) and enjoy them at home.

The 3 Ninjas passion for serving unique combinations with care and personable service is what gives their food that little extra pizzaz. Flavor on point, a convenient location, and take-out ready food, we’re in!
