Christmas Tree Elegance at The Historic Davenport Hotel is our favorite way to kick off the Christmas season in Spokane. With 12 elaborate and unique Christmas tree displays this year, you can see various lights, ornaments and gifts surrounding the trees and enter in a raffle to win one of the displays and all accompanying gifts! Each raffle ticket costs only $1 and you can win thousands in cash money or other prizes. The money raised through the raffle benefits the Spokane Symphony.
This year, Christmas Tree Elegance began on November 30th and will continue until December 10th. You can purchase raffle tickets to be entered in each drawing from 10 am to 9 pm at The Historic Davenport Hotel on the Mezzanine. Winners will be drawn on Saturday December 10th at 9:30 pm at The Davenport.
Christmas Tree Elegance is a spectacular event for all ages and it is completely free to attend. The Davenport Hotel offers valet parking but this often fills up on weekends and evenings. There is street parking available throughout downtown, but I found it easiest to park in the Bank of America parking garage right down the street. You can pay by the hour once you leave and don’t have to worry about refilling your meter.
If you want to make your night extra special, book a table at Palm Court Grill, The Peacock Lounge, or the The Safari Room and enjoy a fabulous dinner, drinks, and top notch service. The Safari Room serves fantastic fine dining dishes such as fish, Prime Beef Filet, ribs and they are famous for creating the Crab Louis salad. The Peacock Lounge is a swanky hangout, great for appetizers and cocktails. The Safari Room is a little more casual with happy hour specials and cool decor.
This is one of the most exciting Christmas activities in Spokane, and it only lasts for a short while so try to catch the display before it ends on December 10th. You won’t regret it! Also, check out their gift shop before you leave, you’ll want to snag some of their well-loved (by me) peanut brittle, which is a fantastic Christmas present for out of town relatives!
Visit the new Davenport Hotel, The Grand, Downtown. We love their Tapas Restaurant, Table 13. See more on that HERE.
