You know the expression, “it tasted like a slice of heaven”. After Rockwood Bakery’s pumpkin pie, I understand this much greater. Their pumpkin pie is so moist that it literally melts in your mouth. It has just the right blend of pumpkin and spice and you could taste the fine ingredients and creaminess. These pumpkin flavors lingered in my mouth like an expensive European chocolate. The crust was light, carfeul not to over-power the flood of flavors from the filling. I’d highly recommend you try a slice of this heaven, or if you’re like me and won’t settle for just a slice… get the whole pie.
We also enjoyed their fresh apple pie and Dan goes crazy for their almond croissant. This is one of the freshest, most consistent bakeries I have visited in Spokane. It keeps us coming back for more and it doesn’t hurt that it’s absolutely adorable, located on the tree streets on the South Hill.
Keep eating, Spokane. And, remember to tell them we sent you!
XOXO
