WELLNESS TREE

The Wellness Tree is a breath of fresh air. Located on Perry Street, they specialize in fresh pressed juice, juice cleanses, and acai bowls. Their space is so bright with their open windows and fresh succulents covering the wall! Their acai bowls are delicious and healthy and so many wholesome ingredients go into each of their juices. The owners are naturopathic doctors (chiropractor and acupuncturist) and they focus on balancing nutrition to help people feel better.

Juice $7 / Smoothies $7 / Juice Shakes (Juice+2) / Elixir $5 / Acai $8 / Hot Drinks $5 / Refresher $7 / Shots $5 / Tea $2.50

Below is the Purple Haze, full of beet, carrott, celery, spinach, apple, and ginger. I also tried the Berry Acai Bowl with blended acai, berries, banana, hemp milk, topped with granola, strawberries, gogi berries, bee pollen, and honey. These acai bowls are the best in town. They aren’t full of unnatural fillers and extra sugar, but all natural ingredients and natural sugars.

Wellness Tree offers Juice Cleanses to help heal and cleanse. These include 6 juices + nut milk + cleanse water  for $40. Wellness Tree is the only place in town that sells elixirs. Elixiers include herbal components that help to heal from within. These elixirs are a fresh tea/juice combination with dried herbs and herb tinctures. They have cleansing, immune boosting, fat blasting, and weight loss properties. They also offer juice shots which help detox and provide energy production.

Wellness Tree uses local, seasonal ingredients. All their blueberries are from a local farm and they try hard to incorporate other local ingredients in their drinks. They will soon be rolling out an oxygen system which helps with rejuvenation.

Their chocolate and mint chocolate smoothies are very popular. How they make something so tasty and healthy is a mystery to me. Popular juices include their “spice it up” and “orangey roots”.  The Acai Tropical bowl is more sweet (hence the name tropical) than the traditional Acai bowl. If you have never had an Acai bowl, you don’t know what you’re missing… see for yourself at the beautiful Wellness Tree.
