Questions & Answers

How do you choose where to eat out?

Typically, I go by word of mouth. My friends are always suggesting I try their favorite places and my Instagram followers are great at making suggestions. If you'd like us to visit your business, please reach out at contact@spokaneeats.net.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Without question one of the most difficult questions I’m asked! For the best answer to this question check out my article “Best Food in Spokane” for my tried and true list of foodie spots in Spokane by category.

Do you ever post negative reviews?

No. I choose to not post negative reviews on Spokaneeats for two main reason: 1) I refuse to take responsibility for negatively impacting a restaurant’s livelihood or success, regardless of the quality of dining experience they have to offer and 2) there are too many amazing restaurants to be excited about. I have specifically chosen to focus my energy on highlighting great experiences rather than wasting time on the negative ones.

Do you post about places that were just so-so?

I have hundreds of photos from mediocre restaurants that I’ll simply never share. My mission at Spokaneeats is to highlight only GREAT restaurant experiences- places I’d feel comfortable recommending to a close friend or family member. I will never post on a place I did not like, regardless of how great the photo is or how nice the server was.

Is Spokane Eats your full time job?

Being a content creator is a dream! I never imagined I'd be in this position back when I started the page in 2015. I was fortunate to be able to leave my corporate job in 2017 when I had brands coming to me saying "I love what you've done with spokaneeats, can you help me do this for my business/brand?" From this, I created the social media management side of my business where I help clients succeed on social media. If you'd like to learn more about these services, please email us at contact@spokaneeats.net

How do you eat all that food?

I love eating out and I love exercising. As with most things in life, it’s all about finding balance. I try everything but I don't finish everything 🙂
