THE GREAT DINE OUT

THE GREAT DINE OUT

Local and regional credit unions and banks have come together to partner with the Inlander in launching a new dining event focused on supporting our local restaurant industry. The Great Dine Out is set to take place March 12-27, 2021 at restaurants throughout the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene region.

Through the support and generosity of local credit unions and banks, there is no participation fee for 150 restaurants to take part in the Great Dine Out. The supporting organizations include STCU, Washington Trust, Idaho Central Credit Union, BECU, P1FCU, Progressions Credit Union, First Interstate Bank, Banner Bank, Canopy Credit Union, Umpqua Bank, Global Credit Union, Wheatland Bank and Horizon Credit Union.

During the two week plus event, restaurants will showcase three featured items in the official event guide published in the Inlander’s March 11 edition. Look for signature dishes, fan favorites, family feasts and more in the guide. Expanded Great Dine Out coverage will follow in the March 18 edition of the Inlander, including conversations with local restaurant owners and deeper dives into menu offerings. Diners can also browse the featured items and search by cuisine or area on Inlander.com/GreatDineOut

Participants include…

The Great Dine Out was designed to give restaurants and diners flexibility. In addition to signature meals, choose from meal kits, family-style feasts, cocktail kits, entrees and more. You can bring your favorite restaurant home or bundle up and dine in at a restaurant offering indoor open air seating. Each restaurant menu in the event guide will clearly identify what services restaurants are offering right now, like indoor open air dining, heated outdoor patios, take-out only, etc.

Statement from The Great Dine Out underwriting local and regional banks and credit unions:

As leaders of 13 Northwest banks and credit unions, we’re setting aside our natural competitiveness to support an industry that is vital to our community culture, creativity, and economy. Our local restaurants are a first date, an engagement, and the anniversaries that follow. They’re a job offer, and a graduation celebration. They’re all that, and a paycheck, too. That’s why we’ve all worked with the Inlander to make it easy for restaurants to participate and for locals to order take out, dine in, and to do good.
