Wolffy’s is a classic, dive that serves up a great burger near Gonzaga University. The inside is small with room for around 20 to belly up to the bar and enjoy a greasy burger with fries. If you are in a hurry, or want to enjoy your meal from the convenience of your car, they have a drive thru! It is slower than your typical drive thru window, but it’s worth the wait.

The bar seating wraps around the open grill where you can watch the cook smash down the fat, juicy ball of ground beef. This is my favorite part. The burgers here are simple and greasy, just like you’d expect from a tiny dive right next to a college campus.
The menu at Wolffy’s is simple, only offering a few burger options, hot dogs, chicken sandwich, grilled cheese, sides, and shakes. They also serve old-fashioned soda and ice cream sundaes. I go for the classics like their traditional cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings, and a chocolate shake. Last time we ate here we saw John Stockton. If it’s good enough for an NBA all-star, it’s good enough for me.

“If you are hungry for Deep Fried French Toast, Omelets, Waffles or Eggs Benedict with a thick sliced Ham Steak, come see us in Airway Heights. Both locations proudly serve Cravens coffee. A rich blend made specifically and only found at Wolffys! Don’t worry, we have to-go cups. What’s better than a burger served with a thick frost shake? One served with an ice cold beer! We have them in bottles and rotating taps in Airway Heights!”
