WHERE TO EAT IN SPOKANE

WHERE TO EAT IN SPOKANE

This list has been a long time coming. It is nearly impossible to pick my favorite restaurant in Spokane (which I am asked daily), but I do have favorites in each category. I put together this post so y’all can easily locate my list by the type of food you desire.

When making this list, I constantly found myself thinking, “I have someone special coming into town, where am I going to take them for_______________.” The list below is what I came up with. I try to update my “favorites” list every year as more and more local spots pop up around town, menus change, ownership/chefs change etc., so here it is for 2017!

    1. Hey, you should check out Bardic Brewing & Cider, its fantastic beer, cider, and food. They have pizza, charcuterie, hand pies, and soup. Plus its pretty nerdy which is a huge plus for me!

  1. OK what if you’re only in Spokane for the night ( with a 2 year old toddler in tow) and want to be able to walk to restaurants from your hotel…that are kid friendly? Where to stay to get the most diverse eating?? Husband is a chef!

    1. I assume you are staying downtown… If so, Sante is a great option! Also, Durkins is fun with a great atmosphere. I know they are kid friendly during the day. Both are right in the middle of downtown. If you want breakfast, check our Madeleine’s Good luck and enjoy your visit!

  2. I discovered your weblog website on google and check just a few of your early posts. Proceed to maintain up the excellent operate. I just further up your RSS feed to my MSN News Reader. Seeking forward to studying extra from you in a while!…

  3. Greetings from Ohio! I’m bored to tears at work so I decided to check out your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I really like the info you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how quick your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, great site!

    1. Hi Joy! Domini Sandwiches is right down the street. Simple menu but fantastic meat and bread quality. There’s also Brooklyn Deli where you can get sandwiches, soup, salad, etc. Method Juice Cafe if you are looking for something healthy and simple. Enjoy your stay!

    1. Ill throw this up because i havent seen anyone mention it. Have you tried taste of thai? I love that place the food tastes outstanding. The building is a bit old and run down looking in a strip mall and I feel like that dissuades some people but its run by the most wonderful thai family and holy macaroni can they cook. Oh goodness lol I think I might go there today.

  4. Do you have a recommendation for where to take a party of 15 for a graduation dinner? I’d prefer somewhere with a separate party room/area. We live in N. Spokane.

    1. Hi Aimee,

A couple great options for group dinners in north Spokane are 1898 Public House and Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar! Congrats to the graduate 🙂

  5. Thai Kitchen in Spokane Valley is easily the best Thai food in Spokane, if not Washington. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order. It is owned by an elderly Thai couple and he serves while she cooks. They’re only opened for lunch but it’s worth the effort to make it there, you won’t be disappointed.

  6. I’d love to hear your thoughts on D’bali asian bistro in Airway Heights. It’s one of our favorites in A/H, if not all of Spokane area. You should definitely give a shot if you haven’t already.
